Density

WALT: Observe and record how an egg reacts in fresh vs salt water to understand the concept of density.

We got all the equipment:

Method:

We put the water in the jar first and then we put the egg in. The egg sunk (My hypothesis was that the egg floated). We put the salt in the jar and then the egg floated!

Science

 WALT: Identify our prior knowledge about Science

1. What do you already know about Science?

I made elephant toothpaste at my old school. You make it in a bucket with water, food colouring and it explodes.

2. What do you want to learn/discover about Science?

Learning about more exploding experiments

My Holidays

 WALT: Write a dimante poem about our up coming holidays.

We created it by using verbs, adjectives and nouns.

Big idea: Different shapes have many similarities
